About Victor Horiaiev

He is called "The Artist with the Golden Brush", Ukrainian Klimt, a Fantasy Master, whose touch on the canvas creates magic, and enlivens the unmanifest world of images, fantasies and dreams. Who knows from what unseen world’s darkness the silhouette of figures, emotions and feelings appear on the white surface of the canvas? When the invisible world begins to prevail, his handwriting appears. And the artist becomes a transmitter between the worlds, where the invisible creates the visible, and the internal controls the external. And the magic of the image begins to act.

Victor Goryaev, an artist from Krivoy Rog, having his own view of the world and art, sends us his magical message, encrypted in his paintings and enchanted panels - he offers his understanding of the beauty of man and the world. The combination of a realistic and decorative styles of painting, using various painting techniques and materials, creates an individual style unique to this master, which makes him recognizable and unique among the other artists. In his paintings, a synthesis of several areas in art is traced - the Pre-Raphaelites, Art Nouveau. Another area of his exploration is experimental contemporary art - monochrome painting using gold leaf and silver. A separate direction is decorative panel-bas-reliefs in which the influence of the Aztec and Mayan cultures is felt and fairy-tale characters come to life, and where the artist combines various materials: ceramics, casting, leather, wood, semiprecious stones, faux ivory, horn, polymer clay, etc. The complexity of the drawing, the unusual composition, and the accuracy of details are surprising in them.

Personal exhibitions of the master were held in Krivoy Rog, Kiev, Odessa, Lviv and Leipzig. A large number of his art works are in private collections in Ukraine, in Europe and in The United States of America. In 2015, the American press wrote about his work (“The Art Of Man” Magazine, Volume 20, Spring 2015). In 2017, Victor Goryaev was accepted as a member to the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Victor Goryaev actively takes part in the international exhibitions: 2010 - "WORLD-OF-ART BERLIN" (Berlin, Germany); 2018 - participation in the exhibition "ARTISTES DU MONDE 2018" (Cannes, France), 2018 - participation in the exhibition "INSPIRANION", (Leipzig, Germany). In 2019, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, he participated in the International cultural project “Weaving” held in Shanghai International Convention Center (Shanghai, China), about which there is information on the official website of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
